“The Fake Peace Plan That Will Bring Ruin to the Korean Peninsula”
According to reporter Park So-eun from News1, on the 24th, Jang Dong-hyuk, the leader of the People Power Party, criticized President Lee Jae-myung’s ‘END Initiative’ presented during the keynote speech at the UN General Assembly. Jang called it “nothing more than a rehash of failed leftist North Korea policies.”
On Facebook, Jang stated, “Although it talks about normalization of relations and denuclearization through exchange, it will ultimately result in unilateral aid to North Korea and acceptance of North Korea’s nuclear program.”
He further elaborated, “It’s a fake peace plan characterized by ‘E(Everything)’—giving away ‘everything,’ ‘N(Nothing)’—gaining ‘nothing,’ and ‘D(Die)’—leading to the ‘ruin’ of the Korean Peninsula due to North Korea’s nuclear weapons.”
