2025 Customer Satisfaction Management Award,
Volvo Group Korea (Vice President Lee Myung-kwan of Domestic Sales and Service) has won the grand prize in the distribution sector of the ‘2025 Customer Satisfaction Management Award’. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Volvo Group Korea has received this honor.
Volvo Group Korea has been recognized for enhancing its transition to electrification and customized support systems to deliver products and services that exceed customer expectations. The Changwon plant initiated its electric excavator production line in 2022 and completed battery pack production facilities in 2024 with a 10 billion won investment from the headquarters. It has established itself as a key production base for meeting electrification demand in the Asia-Pacific region.
This year, the Changwon plant received the largest portion of a 360 billion won global investment. This is expected to improve productivity through smart process transitions. The plant is also demonstrating exemplary ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) based production systems by transitioning to renewable energy and achieving zero waste operations, thus realizing sustainable customer value.
Additionally, Volvo Group Korea enhances customer operational efficiency by operating optimal service centers nationwide that provide equipment, parts, and services on a one-stop support basis. The company is also focused on R&D to achieve its three technical goals of ‘Zero Accidents’, ‘Zero Emissions’, and ‘Zero Downtime’, which advocate for safety compliance, no emissions, and maximized efficiency in operational hours.
