The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced today (21st) that it will distribute local accommodation discount vouchers worth up to 50,000 won as part of the “2025 Korea Summer Accommodation Sale Festa” in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization.

This event is divided into the “Regional Special Planning Session” with 13 regional metropolitan municipalities, the “Main Session” targeting accommodations in non-metropolitan areas, and the “Special Disaster Area Session” for areas affected by forest fires and the December 29 flight disaster.

For the “Regional Special Planning Session,” a 50,000 won discount voucher can be used for reservations of accommodation products worth 70,000 won or more in 13 metropolitan cities from the 28th to the 30th.

The distribution of discount vouchers for the “Main Session” will take place from June 2 to July 17, offering a 30,000 won discount for accommodation products over 70,000 won, and a 20,000 won discount for products under 70,000 won in non-metropolitan areas.

The “Special Disaster Area Session,” targeting areas such as Sancheong, Hadong, Andong, Yeongdeok, Yeongyang, Uiseong, Cheongsong, Ulju, Muan, and Gwangju, will distribute discount vouchers worth 50,000 won for accommodations over 70,000 won, and 30,000 won for those under 70,000 won from June 18 to July 17.

These accommodation discount vouchers can be issued on a first-come, first-served basis from 10 a.m. during each distribution period, limited to one voucher per person. If the “Regional Special Planning Session” voucher is used, vouchers for the “Main Session” and “Special Disaster Area Session” cannot be issued concurrently.
