Tomorrow’s cold snap will worsen… Dry in the east, wildfire alert [Weather]

[News Desk]

The continued inflow of cold air is prolonging the cold spell.

Tomorrow, the severe cold will intensify.

Last night, the cold wave advisory that was in place for the northern parts of Gyeonggi and Gangwon-do will be upgraded to a cold wave warning at 9 PM tonight.

Additionally, the cold wave advisory will be expanded to more regions in the central and northern Gyeongsang areas.

Tomorrow, temperatures in most inland regions will drop below -10 degrees Celsius.

Seoul’s lowest temperature will be -10 degrees Celsius, with the wind chill dropping to -16 degrees.

Temperatures in Jecheon will plummet to -20 degrees, and Daegwallyeong will drop to -26 degrees.

Meanwhile, the air remains dry, especially in the capital region and the eastern parts, due to the inflow of cold and dry air without significant precipitation.

For coastal areas, the wind is expected to be strong, so fire prevention measures need to be thorough.

Tomorrow, skies across the country will generally be clear.

There will be swell waves along the east coast.

Tomorrow morning, temperatures will fall to -10 degrees in Seoul, and -7 degrees in Jeonju and Daegu.

In the afternoon, the temperature will remain at -2 degrees in Seoul and -1 degree in Chuncheon, with the central regions experiencing sub-zero temperatures throughout the day.

The severe cold is expected to continue for the next three days, but by the weekend, daytime temperatures will return to normal.

That was the weather.
