, ‘The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 4th that it will hold an event celebrating the 80th anniversary of Liberation through tourism, in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization and Hana Bank.’,

, ‘The event is organized to help people remember Liberation through tourism, by introducing 13 tourist sites that carry the meaning of the independence movement among the ‘Top 100 Korean Tourism’ spots.’,

, ‘First, during the “Liberation Week” (August 11-17), visits to the ‘Top 100 Korean Tourism’ sites related to Liberation will be conducted. Visitors to the 13 related sites will receive a Liberation commemorative magnet on a first-come, first-served basis. The magnet features the ‘Jingwansa Taegeukgi,’ depicting a Taegeukgi overlaid on a Japanese flag, symbolizing independence and patriotism.’,

, ‘To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation, commemorative magnets will be available at these locations, and visitors who stamp for verification will receive one magnet per stamp.’,

, ‘A “My Own Liberation Travel Plan” event will also take place. Participants can share their travel plans regarding the Liberation-related ‘Top 100 Korean Tourism’ sites on the Visit Korea website and verify their visit afterwards to win a draw for a keychain of ‘Hojong’, a Korean tourism character, wrapped in a Taegeukgi.’,

, ‘There is also a collaborative event with Hana Bank to celebrate Liberation. From the 8th of this month to the 7th of next month, visitors to all ‘Top 100 Korean Tourism’ sites, including the 13 Liberation-related sites, will receive a Hana Bank interest rate benefit coupon (+2.0%p). Additional prizes such as regional tourism facility vouchers, dining gift certificates (Outback mobile gift voucher), fuel gift vouchers, and convenience store vouchers will be provided through a lottery.’,
