The daytime high in Daegu and Gyeongbuk will be between 1 and 5 degrees Celsius. Starting from the night, snow and rain are expected in the western inland areas of Gyeongbuk.

A cold wave advisory is in effect for the northeastern mountainous regions of North Gyeongsang, and it will be cold throughout the day on Friday, December 27th, in Daegu and the Gyeongsangbuk-do area. A dry weather advisory has been issued for the east coast of North Gyeongsang and the northeastern mountainous areas. The highest daytime temperatures will be 4 degrees in Daegu and Cheongdo, 5 degrees in Gumi, and between 1 to 5 degrees, which is 3 to 6 degrees lower than the previous day. From Friday night to early Saturday morning, there may be about 1cm of snow or around 1mm of rain in the western inland areas of North Gyeongsang. In Daegu and the rest of the southern inland areas of North Gyeongsang, there might be light snowfall. The levels of fine dust and ultrafine dust are forecasted to be ‘good’. On Saturday, the weather will be mostly clear with morning lows of -9 to -3 degrees, around 2 degrees lower than on Friday, and the highest daytime temperatures will be between 0 to 5 degrees, with Daegu at 4 degrees. On Sunday, it will be mostly cloudy with daytime temperatures ranging from 4 to 8 degrees, and the cold will moderate.
