Rain is expected in the Chungcheong region during the March 1st holiday, with the possibility of snow starting from the 3rd.

During the March 1st holiday, rain is expected in various parts of the Chungcheong region.

On the 27th, the Korea Meteorological Administration held a regular briefing and forecasted that rain would begin in the southern regions and Jeju on the 28th, expanding nationwide by March 1st.

This forecast is due to a mobile high-pressure system passing over the Korean Peninsula and moving southeast, allowing moisture from the west, and on the 1st, a precipitation zone is expected to develop between a cold northern high-pressure system and a warm southeastern high-pressure system.

In the case of Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam, rain is expected from the afternoon of the 1st, with anticipated precipitation of less than 5mm. On the last day of the holiday, the 3rd, some areas of Chungnam may experience rain or snow.

On the 28th, the morning low temperatures in the Chungcheong region are forecasted to be between 0°C and 3°C, with daytime highs ranging from 11°C to 15°C, indicating a large temperature difference. Temperatures are expected to remain similar on March 1st and 2nd but will drop starting on the 3rd. The forecast for the 3rd indicates temperatures ranging from 0-4°C for the lows and 6-9°C for the highs in the Chungcheong region.
