The uniquely warm day of this year’s college entrance exam is coming to an end. It was the warmest morning in the history of exam days, but rain started to fall in various parts of the country as students left the exam sites.
About 5mm more rain is expected to fall, and it will gradually stop by tomorrow morning starting in the central region. However, in Jeju Island, the rain will continue until the day after tomorrow, with up to 60mm expected.
Even after the rain stops tomorrow, the sky will remain cloudy. Nevertheless, air quality across the country will be clean.
Tomorrow morning, the temperature in Seoul will be around 13 degrees, similar to today, while Gwangju will start at 14 degrees and Daegu at 12 degrees, 3 to 4 degrees higher than today.
During the day, the temperature will be mild, with Seoul and Cheongju reaching 20 degrees and Jeonju 21 degrees.
From the night after tomorrow, rain is expected to fall in the central region.
After the rain stops on Sunday morning, temperatures will plummet, and the first sub-zero cold is expected to hit Seoul next week.
