“(Seoul=News1) Reporter Lee Jaesang = The global biotech company ‘Korea BNC’ announced on the 10th that it will launch the premium home beauty brand ‘Iced Lucenia (LUCENIA)’. Lucenia is a next-generation home beauty device specialty brand that combines hospital-grade skin medical device technology with a sensory cosmetic user experience.
Lucenia is the first B2C brand to be introduced following Korea BNC’s acquisition of Korea BTV, a company specializing in skin beauty medical devices.
Designed based on Korea BTV’s hospital-grade skin medical device technology, it has received evaluations for effectively balancing ‘technology and sensitivity’ through a precise understanding of skin structure and analysis of real user routines.
In particular, with the brand launch, two models, ‘Dual Shine’ and ‘Hi-Fit’, are being introduced.
‘Lucenia Dual Shine’ is equipped with five core technologies, including RF (radio frequency), laser, microcurrent, EP, and LED, and can care for both the skin and scalp simultaneously.
‘Lucenia Hi-Fit’ is centered around HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) for unlimited use, concentrating on premium technologies at a dermatology level such as LDM, RF, and EP.
With patented technology, the depth of radiation can easily be adjusted for different skin areas such as around the eyes, cheeks, and jawline, implementing a more precise lifting effect tailored to the user’s skin condition. Additionally, it offers three focused care modes: ‘Beauty’, ‘Exercise’, and ‘Pro’, allowing for easy management of various skin concerns like elasticity, contours, radiance, soothing, and pores in everyday life.
Ryu Namjoo, the vice president overseeing the cosmetic brand Iced for Korea BNC, stated, “Lucenia will be a game-changer in the market, providing solutions through the synergy of biotechnology, derma cosmetics, and beauty devices tailored to skin concerns, differentiating itself from devices that merely collect simple functions.”
He continued, “Alongside the domestic market launch, we plan to launch in the US and China markets, with current discussions underway, within the third quarter to expand the presence of ‘K-beauty’ and ‘K-device’ in the global home beauty device market.”
