KG Mobility agrees to a basic salary increase of 75,000 KRW, marking the 16th consecutive year of negotiating labor agreements without disputes.

(Seoul = News1) Reporter Park Ki-bum = KG Mobility (003620) (hereinafter referred to as KGM) has finalized an agreement with its labor union to increase the basic salary by 75,000 KRW.

KGM announced on the 1st that the 2025 wage negotiation has been finalized following the approval of the tentative agreement through a union member vote.

As a result, the basic salary will be increased by 75,000 KRW, and a total of 3.5 million KRW, including production incentive (PI) payments, will be distributed. The agreement also includes commitments and plans for securing sustainable future growth engines for KGM, such as strategies for launching new cars and businesses, as well as strengthening technological capabilities.

The labor and management had previously drawn up this tentative agreement, which was approved with a 64.5% approval rate in a vote held by union members on the 31st. With this, KGM has concluded the negotiations without strikes for 16 consecutive years since 2010.

A KGM representative stated, “Thanks to the union’s grand compromise for increasing sales volume and securing sustainable growth engines for the company, and the staff’s decisive actions, we have achieved a no-strike settlement for 16 years in a row. Now that this year’s wage negotiations are concluded, all executives and employees will devote their utmost efforts to increasing the sales volume of the highly praised Actyon Hybrid, as well as improving customer satisfaction and management efficiency.”
