Hyundai Motor Company revealed the design of the premium flagship large SUV, ‘The All-New Palisade’, for the first time on the 6th.
The new Palisade is a full-change model unveiled for the first time in six years since its initial release in November 2018. While inheriting the unique character of the Palisade, it has been reborn with a more robust and luxurious design.
Hyundai plans to continue its dominant position in the domestic large SUV market by showcasing the new Palisade, which captures overwhelming presence along with considerate attention to passengers.

The new Palisade integrates a strong impression with bolder proportions, evolving into a more robust and luxurious image. At the front, the vertical DRL and boldly positioned radiator grille combine with Palisade’s unique character to make a dominant first impression. The futuristic and intense center positioning lamps align with the high hood, offering a sense of magnificence akin to a grand sculpture.
The sides feature a shorter front overhang, extended wheelbase, and rear overhang achieving more robust proportions compared to its predecessor. The dynamic 21-inch wheels enhance an elegant and clean side profile.

The horizontal character line continuing from the hood combines with the beltline, exuding a simple yet luxurious aura, while the D-pillar, as if seamlessly extending from the roof rack, maximizes a bold sentiment. The rear lamps are designed to harmonize with the front, accentuating a wide stance, and unifying the vertical character of the Palisade.

In the interior, the new Palisade has been themed as a ‘Premium Living Space,’ achieving a more generous interior space and implementing a horizontal layout inspired by furniture design, fostering a cozy atmosphere like one’s home. Based on increased overall length and wheelbase compared to the previous generation model, the ample interior space considers a family lifestyle with well-placed seats, console, and dashboard, accompanied by soft materials and meticulous finishes to create a comfortable and elegant vibe.
The panoramic curved display at the front enhances visibility and adds a touch of cutting-edge tech-feel, linking the 12.3-inch digital cluster and infotainment screen seamlessly.
Moreover, the island-type center console, detached from the dashboard, offers a wide sense of openness and is practically configured with a USB charging port supportable up to 100W, a wireless charger, two large-capacity cup holders, lower storage space, and a console box openable from both sides.

Significantly, the new Palisade is the first among Hyundai vehicles to feature a center console usable as a middle seat in the first row, maximizing space utilization, and enabling the choice of a 9-seater model that can use bus-exclusive lanes. By opting for the 9-seater, individual consumption tax is waived, and when registered as a business-use passenger vehicle, VAT refund benefits are available.
The second row can be configured flexibly with independent seats for 7-seaters and 6:4 split seats for 9-seaters according to customer preference, while the third row utilizes 6:4 split seats as a standard with enhanced rear quarter glass, offering a broad sense of openness.

Hyundai focused on implementing a distinguished sense of premium in alignment with its flagship premium SUV status, developing the new Palisade colors with meticulous craftsmanship. The exterior colors include existing colors like Abyss Black Pearl, Creamy White Pearl, Shimmering Silver Metallic, and Robust Emerald Pearl, with four new colors: Ecotronic Gray Pearl, Cast Iron Brown Pearl, Galaxy Maroon Pearl, and Clazzi Blue Pearl.
Interior colors are available in Black one-tone, Gray two-tone, Brown two-tone, Navy two-tone, and Dark Grey two-tone, totaling five options.

Simon Loasby, head of Hyundai Design Center, remarked, “The All-New Palisade realizes presence with a bold and luxurious design complemented by meticulous detail,” adding, “The interior design, completed with precise detail reminiscent of premium furniture, will redefine Palisade as a comfortable yet highly utilitarian space for families.”
