Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 24th that it will host the developer conference Pleos 25 at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul, on the 28th of next month. Pleos is the new software brand introduced by Hyundai Motor Group, aimed at transitioning to an SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) development system in preparation for the AI era. The company is opening the Pleos website to recruit conference participants.
Hyundai Motor Group explained that Pleos encapsulates their vision and commitment to gather and connect data from all movements, devices, and spaces to present new concepts of mobility. At Pleos 25, the brand unveiling and core technologies for SDV development will be showcased.
A new open platform will be introduced, providing an SDK (Software Development Kit) and API (Application Programming Interface) development environment, allowing developers and partners to utilize vehicle data to develop next-generation infotainment apps. Technical presentations on topics such as SDV, AI, and autonomous driving will also take place.
The group will run a program enabling attendees to learn about vehicle app market development environments and practice developing vehicle apps using the SDK. An exhibition space will showcase collaboration cases utilizing vehicle data with business partners.
