High Concentration of Fine Dust Emergency… Expansion of Ultrafine Dust Advisory [Weather]

[5 o’clock News]

We’ve been experiencing high levels of fine dust for three consecutive days.

This is the scene in Seoul just a short while ago.

As you can see, the city is enveloped in a hazy fine dust.

Currently, there is a fine dust advisory in effect, particularly in the central region, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk areas.

Emergency fine dust reduction measures have been expanded and activated in the central-western area and Jeonbuk region.

Looking at the current fine dust concentration, Seoul’s Geumcheon-gu is at 70, Goesan at 69, and Yeongju also at 69 micrograms, mostly indicating poor levels.

Tomorrow, the air will remain murky.

However, as east winds begin to blow the day after tomorrow, the dust is expected to gradually clear.

Tomorrow, the skies across the country will be mostly clear.

The east coast region will continue to be dry.

Tomorrow morning’s temperature will be -2°C in Seoul, -5°C in Chuncheon, and -1°C in Daegu, which are 2 to 4 degrees above the seasonal average.

Daytime temperatures will be 7°C in Seoul, 12°C in Gwangju and Daegu, bringing mild conditions.

On the weekend, Seoul’s daytime temperature will rise to 10°C.

Next Monday, rain or snow is expected nationwide.

That was the weather.
