BMW Korea announced on the 6th that it will officially launch the “New M3 Competition Sedan and New M3 Competition Touring” in Korea. The newly launched BMW New M3 Competition Sedan and Touring are facelift models of the 6th generation BMW M3 lineup, featuring a new design applied to both exterior and interior, and an upgraded operating system enhancing user convenience.

The BMW New M3 Competition Sedan and Touring are equipped with a powertrain that offers 20 horsepower more than the previous model. They are powered by an M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum output of 530 horsepower and a maximum torque of 66.3 kg·m, paired with an M Steptronic sport 8-speed automatic transmission. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.5 seconds for the New M3 Competition Sedan and 3.6 seconds for the Touring.

The M-specific all-wheel-drive system, known as M xDrive, can be switched between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, providing a thrilling driving experience unique to M models. It also features a dedicated cooling system and a BMW M motorsport-inspired oil supply system. The New M3 Competition Sedan and Touring benefit from significantly improved torsional rigidity thanks to various struts and reinforcement panels, as well as steel mounts positioned in the engine compartment and front and rear axles.

Both models come standard with 19-inch front and 20-inch rear M forged wheels to deliver agile handling and high traction. Additionally, they are equipped with adaptive M suspension, M sports differential, and M compound brake systems as standard features.

The BMW New M3 Competition Sedan and Touring boast sharper adaptive LED headlights, a frameless BMW kidney grille, and M light shadow lines, creating a bold and dynamic front appearance. Inside, the 12.3-inch information display and 14.9-inch control display combined in the BMW Curved Display accentuate a modern touch. An ‘illuminated air vent’ with light applied to the air vents provides subtle lighting, creating a sophisticated and elegant interior. The latest “BMW Operating System 8.5” is implemented for a new and convenient user experience.

The two models include advanced driver assistance systems and various convenience features supporting safe and comfortable daily driving. Driving Assistant Professional and Parking Assistant Plus are among the standard features. The price is set at 135.8 million KRW for the New M3 Competition Sedan and 137.6 million KRW for the Touring.
