On the October 29th broadcast of SBS’s “Whenever I Get a Chance,” Yoo Jae-suk mentioned his children. The episode featured actor Lee Seo-jin as a special guest.
Lee Seo-jin, who is experiencing menopause symptoms, caught attention by explaining, “I feel anxious and restless for no reason. Sometimes I feel hot and then cold. I get very hot.” He added that he even started using the air conditioner because of these menopause symptoms, despite never using it before.
For a meal, they went to a restaurant specializing in webfoot octopus, a favorite of Lee Seo-jin. While enjoying their meal, Lee Seo-jin noticed something spilled on Yoo Jae-suk’s clothes and pointed it out, to which Yoo Jae-suk responded, “I’m always spilling things like this,” and began to clean up the sauce.
Lee Seo-jin commented, “As you age, you spill everything. Once you’re past 50, it’s the same for everyone.” Yoo Jae-suk agreed, “Honestly, that’s not wrong. Things really do change after 50.” Lee Seo-jin added, “As your physical strength declines, you become more rigid. It can’t be helped.”
They visited a kindergarten where Yoo Jae-suk couldn’t take his eyes off the children. Lee Seo-jin asked about the ages of his children, to which Yoo Jae-suk replied, “One is in the second year of middle school, and the other hasn’t started first grade yet. She’ll start next year.” Yoo Jae-suk smiled as he mentioned, “When I get home, it’s my second daughter, Na-eun, who welcomes me the most.”
Before a game, Lee Seo-jin humorously criticized the skills of Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok, saying, “I tried recording for the first time today, and their skills are quite terrible.” He added with a laugh, “I’m apologizing in advance. My enthusiasm far exceeds my skills. Don’t expect too much.”
