[Breaking News] ‘National Actor’ Ahn Sung-ki Passes Away… 6 Days After ICU Admission
(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporters Jeong Rae-won and Park Won-hee = ‘National actor’ Ahn Sung-ki passed away on the 5th. He was 74 years old.
Ahn Sung-ki passed away at Seoul Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Yongsan District on the morning of the same day, surrounded by his family. He had been unconscious in the intensive care unit for six days after collapsing at home on the 30th of last month, when food became lodged in his throat.
Since 2019, the deceased had been battling blood cancer while preparing for his return to acting.
