[Sports Chosun’s Lee Ge-eun] Former national rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae shared an update on her life.

On the 17th, a video titled “32-year-old mom Yeon-jae.. Eating well and living her best life in November” was uploaded to the ‘Son Yeon-jae’ channel.

Son Yeon-jae revealed her morning routine, which includes having a meal followed by taking vitamins. After putting her son to sleep, she began her home workout. She settled in a spot overlooking her home’s extravagant garden, which is as spacious as a park and caught the attention of many viewers with its well-maintained landscaping.

Son Yeon-jae explained, “I usually start with stretching. Even though I don’t really want to, I do minimal muscle exercises. I finish with squats, lunges, and arm exercises using bands. If I have the stamina, I also do the stair workout, but I mostly skip it.”

After doing squats, she continued with arm exercises and lunges, incorporating upper body exercises with a band. She stated, “I plan to have a second child. My current weight is 48 kg with about 19 kg of muscle mass. My goal is to increase my muscle mass to 21 kg and my weight to 50 kg. For reference, my height is 165.7 cm. I’m trying to exercise a bit every day.”

On the following day, Son Yeon-jae mentioned, “I’m trying to manage myself well. I’m serious about planning for a second child, but I haven’t done any body management. I feel that taking protein is the most crucial part, but it’s my biggest worry.”

Meanwhile, Son Yeon-jae married a non-celebrity in the financial industry who is nine years her senior in 2022, and she gave birth to a son in February last year.
