Singer Eungaeun Notifies Her Agency of Termination: “Schedule Obstruction, Unpaid Settlements”
Singer Eungaeun has informed her agency, TSM Entertainment, of her decision to terminate her exclusive contract.
According to our report on the 28th, Eungaeun claims that she has suffered financial and mental distress throughout her career due to the agency’s continuous changes in statements and negligence, prompting her to serve the notice of contract termination.
Eungaeun’s side explained, “The agency, TSM Entertainment, has consistently failed to pay the promised settlements, and payments have been delayed throughout the contract period, causing serious harm,” revealing the reason for her decision to leave the agency.
Eungaeun’s legal representative, Attorney Im Sara, stated, “Although the influence of artists has grown compared to before, the imbalance of information and experience between artists and agencies is often exploited to form unfair contracts or misappropriate settlements. We will take all necessary legal actions to rectify this.”
Born in 1987, Eungaeun debuted as a ballad singer in 2013 and transitioned to trot music. She gained popularity after finishing seventh in the TV CHOSUN show ‘Tomorrow’s Miss Trot 2’ in 2022. Eungaeun is also set to marry singer Park Hyunho, five years her junior, next April and is actively participating in various entertainment shows, including Channel A’s ‘Groom Class – Modern Men’s Life.’
