[Sports Chosun Reporter Baek Ji-eun] Moon Seo-yoon, the daughter of Jeong Yoo-kyung, chairman of Shinsegae Group, is making her debut as an idol.
The Black Label, led by Teddy, revealed the ‘All Day Project’ through its official account on the 9th. The project features Moon Seo-yoon, the daughter of Shinsegae Group leader Jeong Yoo-kyung, alongside Yeongseo, who left I-LIT, former Big Hit member Jo Woo-chan, Bailey Sok, and model Lee Chae-won, drawing attention.
Moon Seo-yoon is the eldest daughter of Jeong Yoo-kyung, who is the sibling of Shinsegae Group Chairman Jeong Yong-jin. Last year, when photos of female trainees from The Black Label were released on an online community, there was speculation that she would debut with Teddy’s first girl group, Myao. However, she ended up debuting in a co-ed group instead of Myao.
Teddy, originally from 1TYM, transitioned to a producer role in 2006, gaining recognition for his genius musical talents by producing for Big Bang, 2NE1, and Blackpink. In 2015, he established The Black Label, successfully launching I.O.I member Jeon So-mi’s solo career and the girl group Myao, showcasing his capabilities as a general producer. Given that he is now launching a co-ed group in a K-pop scene where such groups have virtually vanished, the industry is paying close attention.
The teaser video for the All Day Project released on this day contained intriguing phrases like “The world doesn’t know All Day Project yet, but this project is ready,” “The inherent human nature to always seek novelty – some may think differently,” and “Maybe different people are trying together to change the world,” which have piqued interest in their identity and music.
