“School Bullying Allegations” Song Ha-yoon Disappears from ‘The History of Losers’… Edited Out in Teaser Video

[Exclusive] “School Bullying Allegations” Song Ha-yoon Removed from “History of Losers”… Entirely Edited Out of Teaser Video

[OSEN=Reporter Yoo Soo-yeon] As the drama “History of Losers,” featuring actress Song Ha-yoon, meets viewers after three years, her scenes have disappeared in the teaser video, drawing attention.

On the 21st, OTT platform Wavve informed OSEN, “It is correct that ‘History of Losers’ will air simultaneously on Wavve and Watcha. It is scheduled to be released with two episodes every week starting the 26th.”

Wavve and Watcha also released the official teaser video through their official SNS accounts. The youth comedy depicts four friends (Jo Byung-gyu, Ryeoun, Jung Jae-kwang, and Jung Yong-joo), who met as college classmates 25 years ago, growing through love and breakup experiences.

In the video, Jo Byung-gyu is shown meeting and falling in love with his “first love” Seolha (played by Bang Min-ah), along with scenes of Jung Jae-kwang’s first meeting with Hwang Bo-reum-byeol.

The teaser briefly hints at each character’s love line, but Song Ha-yoon’s portion is noticeably absent, drawing attention.

“History of Losers,” scripted by Kim Poong, cast Jo Byung-gyu, who was under school violence allegations, and moved forward with filming, completing all shoots by August 2022 with only the schedule pending. Yet, despite concluding filming two years ago, the drama was in limbo due to the lack of a broadcast schedule.

However, in April last year, another leading actor, Song Ha-yoon, got embroiled in school violence allegations, causing further delays in the schedule.

Thus, three years later, “History of Losers” has finally reached its audience. Yet, the disappearance of Song Ha-yoon’s major scenes from the teaser, amidst past school violence allegations, raises curiosity.
