Park Wi handles house chores and medication on his own in the newlywed home without Song Ji-eun (Wiracle)

In a recent video on the YouTube channel “Wiracle,” former Secret group member Song Ji-eun and YouTuber Park Wi shared their New Year’s greetings. The video titled “Tears Burst Out in Chicago..” was uploaded on January 8th.

In the video, Park Wi expressed his regret over Song Ji-eun’s departure to the United States, saying, “Ji-eun, don’t go,” while Song Ji-eun comforted him by saying, “Time will fly by faster than you think.”

The next day, Song Ji-eun headed to the airport to depart for the U.S., leaving Park Wi behind. Park shared, “Ji-eun cried again. She shed tears as big as raindrops,” and Song Ji-eun expressed her sadness, stating, “It’s the first time we’re apart, so it’s hard.”

After Song Ji-eun left, Park Wi was left alone in their newlywed home in Yongsan, expressing his loneliness and saying, “It’s the last night without Ji-eun. The atmosphere at home is pure loneliness.” He reflected on how he never spent time alone after getting married as Ji-eun was always there when he returned home.

Park Wi also shared his thoughts on marriage, saying, “I think marriage is truly a blessing. Being with someone you truly love and supporting each other in the same space feels like life is complete.”

Meanwhile, at the Los Angeles airport, Song Ji-eun reflected on the time apart, noting it was the longest they had been apart since getting married. She eventually boarded a flight back to Korea, where the two joyously reunited and enjoyed a Christmas Eve date together.

Towards the end of the video, Park Wi narrated his reflections on 2024, recalling his joyful moments and challenges, and expressed hope and well-wishes for 2025.

Park Wi, known for his positivity, is a YouTuber recovering from full-body paralysis following a building fall accident, and he gained attention for regaining upper body mobility through rehabilitation. He married singer Song Ji-eun from the group Secret on October 9th.
