Former golfer Pak Se-ri has expressed her feelings after the controversy over suing her father. Pak Se-ri posted a video titled ‘Thank you so much’ on her YouTube channel ‘박세리의 속사정’ on the 9th of last month. In the video, Pak Se-ri said, “The atmosphere today may seem different, I have something to say, so I’m greeting you from home.”

Park Se-ri opened a press conference in June, revealing the conflict she had with her father. She expressed, “After retiring as a player, I have steadily repaid my father’s debts, but it was a repetition where as soon as one was resolved, the next debt issue arose.” In the YouTube video, Pak Se-ri said, “I’ve expressed my gratitude to many people who gave me strength, but going through this incident, I wanted to convey my thanks even more sincerely.” She continued, “Among the many supportive comments, there were people who wanted to see my daily vlog. After my busy schedule, I will prepare a vlog video that shows my natural daily life, including me having a drink with friends.”
Park Se-ri, the chairperson of the Park Se-ri Hope Foundation, filed a complaint against her father last September for forgery of documents and use of forged documents at the Daejeon Yuseong Police Station. The police have sent this case to the Daejeon Prosecutor’s Office as a recommendation for prosecution.
Park Se-ri’s father received an offer from a construction company last year to participate in establishing an international golf school and golf academy in areas such as Saemangeum, North Jeolla Province. During the process of submitting an intent form for participation in the project, he is accused of forging and using the stamps and documents of the Park Se-ri Hope Foundation.
