A 30-year-old man has been sentenced to imprisonment for breaking into the home of broadcaster Park Na-rae (40) and stealing goods worth tens of millions of won. On the morning of the 3rd, the Seoul Western District Court’s Criminal Division 1 (Chief Judge Park Ji-won) sentenced Mr. Jung (37) to two years in prison for theft and nighttime residential burglary. Mr. Jung is accused of breaking into Park Na-rae’s residence in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, alone on April 4th and stealing goods worth tens of millions of won. He allegedly did not know it was Park’s home at the time of the crime. Mr. Jung also attempted to sell the stolen items. He had previously been caught committing burglary at another house in Yongsan-gu at the end of March.
