“Nonsensical ‘SNS Drug Confession’… Kim Na-jeong, Just Like Seo Min-jae Two Years Ago”

Kim Na-jung’s actions remind many of Seo Min-jae (now Seo Eun-woo), who appeared on ‘Heart Signal 3’ two years ago, and her drug confession.

On the 12th, Kim Na-jung used her Instagram story to post a picture from a hotel in Manila, Philippines, stating, “I am under threat to my life. I’m too scared to go to the airport or take a taxi. Please help me,” describing her urgent situation.

Her desperate post raised concerns about what might have happened, but soon after, Kim Na-jung started making incomprehensible posts.

Kim Na-jung detailed her situation in a lengthy message, saying, “The 11:00 flight from Manila to Incheon on Korean Air has been delayed to 12:05. Late at night, all airport staff, passengers, and immigration are filming me like it’s ‘The Truman Show’ to prevent a drug transport situation. I’ve abandoned all my luggage and bags and didn’t board the Korean Air flight.”

She continued, “If I board that plane, I’ll die. Please help, South Korea. I confess to taking drugs in the Philippines. I feel I’ll die from my delusions if I board the plane,” and “I feel I’ll die if I leave Manila. The airport is dangerous, it’s Manila airport, please help.” These posts were deleted shortly afterward.

Netizens speculated that her erratic, incoherent posts might be hallucinations or delusions from drug side effects. Eventually, a netizen filed a police report with the Seoul Mapo Police Station urging an investigation into Kim Na-jung for suspected drug violations (use and transport).

A similar incident occurred in 2022 with Seo Min-jae of Channel A’s reality show ‘Heart Signal 3.’

At that time, Seo Min-jae shared pictures with singer Nam Tae-hyun on her Instagram, along with messages such as “Nam Tae-hyun uses meth,” “Check my room or company cabinet, there’s a syringe,” “Nam Tae-hyun, I have your syringe,” and “Nam Tae-hyun and I are drug users.” These were quickly deleted.

Seo Min-jae later explained she posted those messages after consuming excessive psychiatric medication and an argument with her partner, Nam Tae-hyun. However, netizen reports following her posts led to her being charged with Nam Tae-hyun for violating drug laws. Seo Min-jae admitted to drug use and was sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for 2 years, for methamphetamine use.

Seo Min-jae recently shared that she is undergoing drug withdrawal and rehabilitation treatments and announced her certification as a drug recovery supporter.
