[JoyNews24 Jung Ji-won Reporter] NewJins’ Daniel mentioned the dismissal of former CEO Min Hee-jin and expressed his feelings.
Daniel, through the fan communication app Poning on the 2nd, expressed, “Our Burnies (fandom name) must have been very worried and confused,” and revealed, “After (Min Hee-jin) was dismissed, it became difficult and worrisome in many ways.”
“I was in a bit of a mental breakdown for a while and I was very anxious,” Daniel revealed. He said, “There wasn’t a day when I didn’t think about the fans,” revealing his complex emotions.
“I always wanted to show only a bright and happy side to Burnies,” Daniel said, “But still, please don’t forget that we always thank and think of our fans.”
This is the first time that NewJins’ Daniel has revealed his position after the conflict with Hive and former CEO Min Hee-jin.
Meanwhile, on the 27th of last month, Adoor held a board meeting and dismissed CEO Min Hee-jin, appointing Kim Joo-young as the new CEO. Min Hee-jin’s side protested, saying, “This dismissal decision is an unlawful decision directly opposing the agreement between shareholders and the injunction against exercising voting rights.”
Adoor’s CEO replacement comes about four months after the conflict between Adoor’s parent company Hive and former CEO Min began, and it is expected that the conflict between the two sides will continue.
Hive, which owns 80% of Adoor’s shares, pushed for the dismissal of former CEO Min at the Adoor’s interim shareholders’ meeting on May 31st citing ‘suspicion of seizing management control,’ but the court accepted the injunction against exercising the voting rights filed by former CEO Min, preventing the dismissal.
