On the 22nd, A confessed on their social media that they had posted various pictures related to Lee Yi-kyung without expecting it to gain so much attention. They admitted that as they continued writing and generating AI images, it began to feel real, causing the spread of malicious rumors, for which they expressed deep regret.
A explained that the incident started out of fan enthusiasm but eventually led to emotional involvement, and they now feel guilty for beginning something meant for fun that ended up seeming real. They stated their willingness to take responsibility if necessary, noting that their language might be clumsy as they are German, and asked for understanding without misunderstanding.

Only three days later, A retracted their statements, claiming the photos were fictitious AI creations, which led to criticisms of an “abrupt reversal.”
