Comedian Lee Kyung-sil has offered genuine advice to Jo Se-ho, whose wedding became a hot topic due to its award-ceremony-like grandeur. On the October 15 episode of tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block,’ they released a video titled ‘The Legend Aunties of Comedy Finally on You Quiz! Unpredictable Fiery Talks with Lee Kyung-sil & Jo Hye-ryun.’
In the video, Yoo Jae-suk began by saying, “I heard you two have been waiting for an invitation to ‘You Quiz,'” to which Jo Hye-ryun responded humorously, “When the call came, I thought I was invited on my own, but Lee Kyung-sil was attached. I guess I’m still not at the level to appear solo.”
Lee Kyung-sil also mentioned Jo Se-ho’s wedding, saying, “I’ve never seen such a crowded wedding. In life, you don’t need that many people. There were five separate group photo sessions,” and added advice from an experienced perspective, “I wonder how many people will remain with you later on. Life teaches you that.”
Additionally, Jo Hye-ryun shared a personal story, “About 12-13 years ago, I went through a divorce. When I was contemplating whether I should get a divorce, this older sister (Lee Kyung-sil) came to mind as a life mentor,” expressing gratitude for Lee’s support during a difficult time.
Yoo Jae-suk noted, “Lee Kyung-sil always steps in to offer advice to her juniors and colleagues. To Jo Hye-ryun, Lee must be such a person in her life.” Jo Hye-ryun humorously countered, “She’s not entirely like that,” eliciting laughter.
Yoo Jae-suk also mentioned, “Lee Kyung-sil has many good stories, but they haven’t spread much, which is unfortunate for the juniors.” Jo Hye-ryun asked to hear one, prompting Yoo Jae-suk to humorously admit, “Nothing in particular comes to mind suddenly.”
Lee Kyung-sil concluded, “I’ve become a senior who has to be mindful of the juniors’ opinions, but you all will eventually become like that, too.” Jo Hye-ryun and Yoo Jae-suk jokingly protested, adding to the laughter. Lee Kyung-sil wrapped up lightheartedly by saying, “The conclusion is, I’m grateful.”
