Recently, North shared videos on her social media (TikTok) showcasing her look with face tattoos, piercings, and blue braided hair. She displayed a star-shaped tattoo under her eyes and what appeared to be a fake tattoo of her name in large cursive lettering on her left cheek. Completing her “teenage hip style,” she wore black grills (tooth decorations), a nose piercing, and colored contact lenses.
North confidently embraced her individuality with the caption, “Fake piercings and fake tatts 4 life.”
Her outfit featured an oversized black t-shirt, long pants, chunky sneakers, and silver chain accessories. North also posted photos posing with her peers on a private jet and backstage at a concert. The comment function for the video was disabled.
Previously, Kim Kardashian addressed the controversy over her 12-year-old daughter’s corset fashion, stating, “It was a mistake, but I respect freedom of expression.”
In a recent podcast interview, she mentioned, “All kids wear similar clothes, but when my daughter wears them, the whole world reacts,” adding, “It was a mistake, but I learned from it.”
She continued, “North is a really sweet and polite child. If she finds happiness in having blue hair or expressing her own style, there’s no reason to stop her.”
On social media, reactions ranged from criticism such as “Corsets and bustiers are not appropriate for a 12-year-old,” and “She’s being exposed too early,” to praise like “That’s amazing individuality at her age,” and “She has an exceptional fashion sense, just like her mom.”
