Husband suspects wife of telepathic infidelity… Oh Eun-young recommends treatment for wife’s “delusional worries” (Marriage Hell)

Dr. Oh Eun-young suggested that the targeted couple may need therapy for their marital issues. In the recent episode of MBC’s “Oh Eun-young Report – Marriage Hell,” Dr. Oh Eun-young, So Yoo-jin, Kim Eung-soo, Park Ji-min, and Moon Se-yoon were shocked by the story of the targeted couple. The couple, who have been married for 13 years, revealed that they have already received a divorce decree. The husband mentioned that he gave in when his wife demanded payment for the lawyer’s fee after filing a lawsuit. Dr. Oh Eun-young expressed her disapproval of their approach towards the legal system, stating that they seem to have a careless attitude towards law and public institutions, which she finds concerning.

As the argument escalated between the couple, their son hid in the closet, So Yoo-jin shed tears out of sympathy, and their daughter remained motionless with the lights turned off. The wife even called the police multiple times, citing incidents involving the refrigerator and bricks, claiming that her husband would become violent when angry. The husband, on the other hand, explained that he pushed the refrigerator in a fit of rage after repeatedly asking his wife to stop talking. He also admitted to using bricks to threaten her before they got married, indicating his difficulty in controlling his anger.

Dr. Oh Eun-young emphasized the seriousness of domestic violence and the need for both parties to pay attention to it, highlighting the importance of not overlooking the issue. The wife admitted to drinking alcohol not to enjoy it, but to calm her anger towards her husband. Dr. Oh Eun-young pointed out that this is a more significant problem and suggested that instead of reducing alcohol consumption, it should be completely stopped.

The wife expressed her desire for her husband’s understanding and emotional consideration. She mentioned incidents like buying the wrong chicken and eating too many eggs to illustrate her husband’s unusual behavior. She also suspected her husband’s interactions with a female neighbor and his actions in the garage, indicating potential emotional connections with other women. Dr. Oh Eun-young stressed that these behaviors are symptomatic and require professional help, warning against delusions and the need for treatment.

Despite the wife’s claims that her husband’s behavior could be attributed to anger and sensitivity, Dr. Oh Eun-young insisted on the necessity of therapy due to potential delusions and mental imbalance. She expressed concern that the delusions might strengthen if not addressed promptly. The couple’s children appeared comfortable around their father when their mother was not present but pretended not to know him when she was around, indicating the tense atmosphere at home. Dr. Oh Eun-young urged the couple to consider therapy and sobriety once again for the well-being of their family.
