[OSEN=Reporter Yu Su-yeon] YouTuber KwakTube expressed his feelings after winning the newcomer male variety award at the ‘Blue Dragon Series Awards’.
On the 19th, the 2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards, abbreviated as BSA, was held at Paradise City in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon. The event was broadcast live on KBS 2TV with MCs Jeon Hyun-moo and Girls’ Generation member and actress Im Yoon-ah.
Kwak Joon-bin, also known as KwakTube, won the newcomer male variety award among nominees such as Kwak Jun-bin from ‘Devs Plan’, Ando Gyu from ‘SNL Korea’, Jung Se-woon from ’19/20′, Jonathan from ‘Zombie Bus’, and Ju Woo-jae from ‘Witch Hunt’.
Upon taking the stage, Kwak Joon-bin shed tears, saying, “I can’t believe this. It’s overwhelming, just a moment.”
Kwak Joon-bin expressed, “I thought I would know that I would win, but they really didn’t tell me. Actually, I’ve watched award ceremonies a lot at home, and I used to imagine receiving an award back then. I thought about talking about the people who made me suffer when I receive the award, but I can’t recall their names. I can only think of those who helped me get here.” He choked back tears again.
He continued, “I give thanks to my parents, my brother Jong-yeon who led ‘Devs Plan’, and the production staff. There are so many people to thank, but if I start listing them all, it would never end, so I want to thank all the brothers and sisters who helped me, thank you Pakkimchi Gang, and the only person I can thank is everyone.”
He added, “I am a newcomer in entertainment, and it’s been about 4 years since I started YouTube. I will continue to upload fun videos with a beginner’s mindset. Finally, I will give honor to my good friend and mentor, Bbanibottle. Thank you.”
