‘Fantasy Boys’ member Kang Min-seo has sparked concerns after signals resembling an SOS have spread. Fans’ anxiety is increasing with cries of “Help us.”

[TV Report = Hyojin Bae, Reporter] The leader of the group “Fantasy Boys,” Kang Min-seo, is currently facing allegations of repeatedly making signals for help during a live broadcast, causing widespread concern.

On the 3rd, during a live session via the official account, Kang Min-seo repeatedly made hand gestures suspected to be a signal for distress toward the camera. The gesture involved opening one hand, tucking the thumb inward, and covering it with the remaining fingers. This movement is commonly recognized as an official signal for victims of domestic violence or abuse to secretly ask for help. The video quickly spread online, with fans expressing concern that it might be a clear call for assistance.

Compounding the situation, Kang Min-seo did not attend a video call fan sign event on the 4th. Everline, the event organizer, stated it was due to “health condition reasons.” However, given that this happened just a day after the alleged distress signal, fan worries have only grown.

Attention is also returning to Kang Min-seo’s previous statements. On the paid fan communication platform “Bubble,” he messaged fans with comments such as “I’ve just finished work,” “I don’t think I’m okay,” and “It’s a bit overwhelming.” Fans are interpreting this as a possible indication of psychological or physical distress rather than simple fatigue.

The agency, Pocketdol Studio, has not provided any explanation.

In response, fans are emphasizing the importance of the members’ safety by launching hashtag campaigns like “#SaveFantasyBoys” and “#ProtectFantasyBoys.” There are even plans for a truck protest, suggesting the controversy may persist for some time.
