On the 22nd, a video titled “Spontaneous Hong Kong trip with my husband” was posted on the channel ‘Son Yeon-jae.’ In the video, Son Yeon-jae embarked on a trip to Hong Kong with her husband to celebrate their 3rd wedding anniversary. She married a finance professional, nine years her senior, in 2022, and they welcomed a son in February last year.
Son Yeon-jae mentioned, “As always, there is no travel plan,” adding, “My husband made lunch and dinner reservations.” Before their dinner, she dressed up, showcasing and wearing accessories, including a diamond ring worth 10 to 40 million KRW, a bracelet priced around 18 million KRW, and a necklace valued at around 8 million KRW.
The couple dined at Caprice, a Michelin 3-star restaurant in Hong Kong. Son Yeon-jae asked her husband, “We came to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. Where shall we go next year?” To which he replied, “By next year, June Yeon will be grown up, so we might be able to go anywhere.”
Recently, Son Yeon-jae admitted that she secretly bought a luxury bag worth around 4 million KRW and felt guilty even though it was purchased with her own money.
Previously, in August, her personal channel was temporarily deleted and then restored, leading to speculations that netizens had reported it, possibly because she was criticized for flaunting wealth on her channel.
Son Yeon-jae made history in rhythmic gymnastics by finishing 5th in the individual all-around at the 2012 London Olympics and 4th at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. Additionally, she made a remarkable achievement by winning Korea’s first-ever individual all-around gold medal in rhythmic gymnastics at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games.
