Director Bong Joon-ho’s film ‘Mickey 17’ heads to home release just one month after its theatrical debut, with estimated losses of 117 billion KRW.

Director Bong Joon-ho’s film “Mickey 17” is being released on digital platforms just a month after its theatrical release. On April 6th, it was announced that Amazon Prime Video in the United States will release “Mickey 17” on April 7th at 9 PM (local time). The film will also be available on Apple TV, Fandango, and other platforms. This move comes as a result of its poor box office performance. According to Box Office Mojo, “Mickey 17” was released on March 7th and has currently grossed a global income of $122.9 million (approximately 179.5 billion KRW), with a North American income of $45.2 million (approximately 66 billion KRW).
