The Korea Student Aid Foundation Honored with Grand Prize in Internal Audit Sector… Achieves Five Awards in Auditing Field This Year

The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byung-il) announced on the 11th that it won awards in four categories at the ‘2025 Korea Auditors Conference’, hosted by the Korean Audit Association. These included the Grand Prize in the 2025 Internal Audit field, the 2025 Internal Audit Innovation Award (Audit Committee Division), the 2025 Internal Audit Competition Grand Prize, and the 2025 Audit Quality Innovation Award.

The following day, on the 12th, they also received the ‘Excellence Award’ in the proactive administration indemnity and pre-consulting audit categories at the ‘2025 Korea Public Institution Auditors Conference’, hosted by the Korea Association for Auditors in Public Institutions, marking a total of five honors in the audit sector for 2025.

The awards ceremonies organized by the Korean Audit Association and the Korea Association for Auditors in Public Institutions bring together public institutions and private companies nationwide to recognize institutions and auditors that have shown outstanding achievements in internal auditing.

This recognition reflects the Korea Student Aid Foundation’s proactive audit activities, efforts to enhance fairness and transparency, and establishment of an organization-level support system for proactive administration.

The Korea Student Aid Foundation has been promoting innovation in its audit system by strengthening the digital foundation of its audit processes, improving the level of internal controls, and revitalizing pre-consulting audits. These efforts have contributed to enhancing audit quality and ensuring organizational stability.

Looking ahead, the Foundation plans to continuously pursue the enhancement of audit function expertise, along with innovation in digital-based internal controls, to establish itself as a leading model for public institution auditing.

During the awards ceremony, Jin Man-seong, Standing Auditor of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, stated, “This award is the result of the integrity and transparent management efforts made by the entire Foundation. We will continue to strengthen our internal control system to enhance accountability as a public institution and strive to become an organization trusted by students and the public.”
