LG Electronics recently announced on the 1st that it was selected as the “Best TV Brand” at the “Euroconsumer Awards 2025,” where consumers across Europe vote for their favorite home appliance brands.
The Euroconsumer Awards, in its seventh year, selected the best brands across specific categories for the first time this year, and LG became the first winner in the TV category.
LG Electronics explained that it received high scores in both expert-led tests and consumer satisfaction and reliability surveys. The company cited its OLED TV, first commercialized in 2013, as the key to its recognition as the best product among European consumers.
In the European market, LG OLED TVs surpassed 5 million units sold in 2021 and reached a cumulative 10 million units this year.
European consumers have a strong preference for high-quality content. LG OLED TVs, with their near-infinite contrast ratio and vivid color reproduction, offer differentiated strengths, according to the company. The thin and simple design, lacking a backlight, adds to their popularity as an interior element in European homes, which are centered around the living room.
Europe has a market culture centered around sports broadcasts like the Premier League. The ultra-fast response times and high refresh rates of OLED TVs ensure smooth motion depiction, providing an optimal viewing experience for sports fans and satisfying even the most discerning European customers, the company added.
LG OLED TVs dominate in television comparisons released by the representative US consumer magazine, Consumer Reports. They have achieved top ratings in evaluations for all available screen sizes, including over 70 inches, 65 inches, 55–60 inches, 46–52 inches, and 39–43 inches, maintaining a commanding lead.
