S-OIL, “Sharing Love with Tteokguk” for Lunar New Year

S-Oil announced that it held the ‘2025 New Year’s Love Sharing Tteokguk’ event at the Yeomri Social Welfare Center in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 22nd. S-Oil donated 30 million won to the Yeomri Social Welfare Center. Additionally, about 30 executives and employees, including the CEO, participated in serving tteokguk to low-income local residents at the center. They also packaged and delivered 150 sets of New Year’s gift bundles composed of daily necessities and food supplies.

Since 2007, S-Oil employees have participated as volunteers in the Love Sharing Tteokguk activity to support underprivileged groups in the community every Lunar New Year. They have been providing heating oil to energy-deprived households during the cold winter and continuously supporting low-income families, multicultural families, and people with disabilities.

Anwar Al Hejazi, CEO of S-Oil, stated, “I hope the Love Sharing Tteokguk, which has been ongoing for over 10 years, helps our neighbors celebrate New Year’s day happily,” and added, “We will continue to strive for the spread of warm sharing with our neighbors.”
