**Real Estate Transaction Management System Restored… Land Transactions Require In-person Visits**
Due to the aftermath of a fire at the National Information Resource Management Agency, the online services for building transactions and housing lease contract reports, which had been suspended, will resume at 1 PM on the 30th. However, land transaction reports still require in-person visits to city, county, or district offices.
Since the fire on the 26th, it has been impossible to report real estate transactions and housing lease contracts online. As a result, those needing to report have had to visit city, county, or district offices to submit their documents.
In response, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport conducted additional system work. With the restoration of some data, it is now possible to report transactions such as apartment and building sales through the Real Estate Transaction Management System.
However, for land transactions, connectivity with the land registry information of the Real Estate Comprehensive System is not available, meaning that a report must be submitted in person at the relevant local government office.
The Ministry of Land stated, “We will do our utmost to minimize inconvenience to the public when providing services through the Real Estate Transaction Management System.”
