Paldo raises the price of ‘Paldo Bibimmyeon’ by 4.5%… “Inevitable due to increase in raw material costs.”

Paldo announced on the 7th that it would raise the prices of its ramen and beverage brands starting from the 14th.

This price increase is the first in 2 years and 6 months since October 2022.

The prices of major products will increase as follows, based on retail prices: ‘Paldo Bibimmyeon’ from 1,100 won to 1,150 won (4.5%), ‘Wang Ddukong’ from 1,400 won to 1,500 won (7.1%), and ‘Namjaramen’ from 940 won to 1,000 won (6.4%).

For beverages, ‘Biryak Sikhye Can’ (238ml) will increase from 1,200 won to 1,300 won (8.3%), and ‘Biryak Sikhye’ 1.5L will increase from 4,500 won to 4,700 won (4.4%).

A Paldo representative stated, “We have inevitably decided to raise prices due to the increase in production costs such as raw materials, logistics, and labor costs.”
