**Priority Departure Services Expanded to Large Families**
Starting from the 10th, families with three or more children will be able to use the priority departure service (fast track) at airports. This service aims to reduce waiting times through dedicated security checkpoints, enhancing convenience for airport users.
According to Incheon International Airport Corporation and Korea Airports Corporation, Incheon, Gimpo, Gimhae, and Jeju International Airports will offer this priority departure service to large families starting the 10th.
Currently, this service is available for pregnant women, people with disabilities, travelers with infants, and social contributors. To address declining birth rates, the government has expanded the service eligibility to include large families.
At Incheon Airport, the preferential exits can be found at departure exits 2-5 at Terminal 1 and to the left of departures 1 and 2 at Terminal 2. Gimpo Airport has priority checkpoints on both the right and left sides of the domestic and international departure halls on the third floor, though they may be relocated in the latter half of the year.
Gimhae Airport has priority checkpoints on both sides of the second-floor departure hall. At Jeju Airport, fast processing is available next to gates 1 and 3 on the third floor for domestic flights, and to the left side of the third-floor departure hall for international flights.
Users must present identification and proof of being a large family (a family relation certificate or a resident registration certificate issued within the last three months) to security personnel. Additionally, both a parent and at least one child must be traveling together, and all children must be under 19 years old. If any child in the family is an adult, the service cannot be used. Up to three accompanying individuals can use the service per departing family.
