Korea Exchange selects 39 companies as “KOSDAQ Rising Stars”.

The Korea Exchange selected 39 KOSDAQ-listed companies with technological capabilities and growth potential as KOSDAQ Rising Stars this year, as announced on the 28th. Since 2009, the Korea Exchange has been selecting KOSDAQ Rising Star companies annually to support the mid- to long-term growth of promising KOSDAQ-listed companies and to promote the activation of the KOSDAQ market. Companies with a strong market dominance in the global market among KOSDAQ-listed companies, companies with a high domestic market share in innovative industries, or companies that have shown continuous revenue growth in these areas and have a high potential to grow into global companies are selected as Rising Star companies.

After evaluating the companies that applied for Rising Star, the Korea Exchange selected 39 companies as Rising Star companies after undergoing deliberation by the selection committee, a decrease of 2 companies from the previous year. Among them, 29 companies were re-selected from the previous year, and 10 new companies were selected.

Re-selected companies include bio-listed companies such as Altogen, and newly selected companies include technology companies in future growth industries such as secondary batteries, AI software, and cooperative robots, with ‘Millie’s Library’, an e-book subscription service, also making the list.

The companies selected as Rising Stars this time will receive benefits such as exemption from annual fees and listing fees for one year, support for holding Investor Relations (IR) events, and the publication of company analysis reports.
