Kia Unveils Three Electric Vehicles in Spain… “A New Paradigm of Customized Mobility”

Kia announced on the 27th that it held the ‘2025 Kia EV Day’ in Tarragona, Spain on the 24th and unveiled three new electric vehicle models: EV4, PV5, and the concept EV2.

The EV4 is Kia’s first electric sedan, set to be released in the first half of this year. The model equipped with an 81.4kWh battery can travel up to 533 km on a single charge, boasting the longest range among Hyundai Motor Group’s electric vehicles. Its efficiency is also the highest among Kia electric cars, at 5.8km/kWh.

Kia’s first purpose-built vehicle (PBV), the PV5, features a 71.2kWh battery in its passenger model, allowing it to travel up to 400 km on a single charge. The vehicle’s design offers a low floor, enhancing convenience for passengers getting in and out and for loading cargo.

The concept EV2 was also unveiled, and Kia plans to launch a mass-production model of the EV2 in Europe by 2026. Kia CEO Song Ho-sung stated, “We aim to present a new paradigm in tailored mobility.”
