[Seoul=Newsis] Reporter Lee Ju-hye: Homeplus announced on the 20th that negotiations for supply with Seoul Milk and Nongshim are delayed.

Homeplus stated, “While negotiations with major partners are in the final stages, discussions with Seoul Milk and Nongshim are delayed.”

They added, “Seoul Milk and Nongshim are demanding prepayment of product costs in cash as a condition for supply. Given the situation where there are still partners and tenants who have not yet received payments, the condition to prepay product costs in cash is challenging for us to accept.”

Furthermore, they added, “Since they are partners we have been cooperating with based on long-term mutual trust, we aim to communicate well about the current situation to reach an agreement quickly.”

As of this morning, Homeplus explained that the total payable for trade receivables is 386.3 billion won.
