[English]: Hankook & Company Group (Chairman Cho Hyun-beom) announced on the 6th that it has completed the acquisition of Hanon Systems, the world’s second-largest automotive thermal management solutions company.

[Korean]: 지난 2014년 한국앤컴퍼니그룹이 한온시스템 지분 19.49%를 확보하며 투자자로 참여한지 10여년 만이다. 이번 인수로 한국앤컴퍼니그룹은 글로벌 자산 총액을 약 27조원까지 늘리며 공정자산 기준 재계 순위 30대 그룹에 첫 진입했다.
[English]: It has been more than 10 years since Hankook & Company Group secured a 19.49% stake in Hanon Systems as an investor in 2014. With this acquisition, Hankook & Company Group has expanded its total global assets to approximately 27 trillion won, entering the top 30 business groups for the first time based on fair asset valuation.

[Korean]: 한국앤컴퍼니그룹은 지난달 24일 한온시스템 유상증자로 1억4496만2552주를 취득한 데에 이어 지난 3일 한앤컴퍼니가 가진 한온시스템 구주 1억2277만4000주를 매입하며 지분율을 54.77%까지 끌어 올렸다.
[English]: On the 24th of last month, Hankook & Company Group acquired 144,962,552 shares through a capital increase of Hanon Systems. In addition, on the 3rd, it purchased 122,774,000 shares, previously owned by Hankook & Company, raising its stake to 54.77%.

[Korean]: 한온시스템은 지난 1986년 한라공조로 설립된 자동차 부품사다. 2013년 한라비스테온공조로 이름을 바꿨고, 2015년 한앤코와 한국타이어테크놀로지(한국타이어)가 1·2대 주주로 참여하며 지금의 한온시스템으로 사명을 바꿨다.
[English]: Hanon Systems was founded in 1986 as Halla Climate Control, an automotive parts company. It changed its name to Halla Visteon Climate Control in 2013, and in 2015, with Han & Company and Hankook Tire & Technology becoming the first and second largest shareholders, it was renamed to its current name, Hanon Systems.
