Doosan Robotics’ ‘AI Robot Solution’ Wins Two Innovation Awards at CES 2026

“Doosan Robotics announced on the 6th that its AI-based robotic solution ‘Scan & Go’ received the Best Innovation Award in the AI category and the Innovation Award in the Robotics category at the ‘CES 2026 Innovation Awards’ announced on the 5th (local time).

The ‘CES Innovation Awards’ are presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to products with outstanding technology and innovation ahead of the CES, the world’s largest IT and electronics exhibition, held every January in Las Vegas, USA. The Best Innovation Award is only given to 1-2 companies that demonstrate the most outstanding innovation in each category.

‘Scan & Go’ is a platform that combines a robotic arm and autonomous mobile robot (AMR) with physics-informed AI and advanced 3D vision, allowing it to perform various tasks independently. It can scan the surfaces of large composite structures like turbine blades, aircraft fuselages, and building exteriors, generate optimal work paths, and perform tasks such as inspection, sanding, and grinding.

This solution, operated in a Plug & Play manner, not only saves work time by eliminating the need for separate design drawings for complex tasks but also ensures a work precision level of 0.1mm. The torque sensors attached to the six axes of the robotic arm allow real-time force adjustment even if the work surface differs.

Kim Min-pyo, CEO of Doosan Robotics, stated, ‘Next year, we will introduce various AI robotic solutions to the market that address practical problems in industrial settings.'”
