“Emart announced on the 26th that it has increased the supply of its value-oriented private label (PL) ‘Naturism’ gift sets by over 10% for this year’s Chuseok. Interest in health has been growing, and the Naturism gift sets have been consistently showing growth annually. From 2021 to 2023, the sales of Emart’s Naturism gift sets grew at an average annual rate of 8%, increasing by 10% even last Chuseok.
In response, Emart is launching a total of nine types of Naturism fruit gift sets during this Chuseok’s pre-order period, with discounts of up to 35%. The flagship product, the ‘Low-Carbon Certified Apple and Pear Set,’ is being sold at a lower price of 69,860 won compared to last year.
The Naturism processed gift sets will also feature five types, including two new products. These sets are composed of rice crackers, traditional beverages, and more, using healthy raw materials and minimizing processing and artificial additives.
In line with the Naturism philosophy, eco-friendly packaging is also being more broadly applied to the fruit gift sets. This year, six types of Naturism fruit sets will use ‘biodegradable air-cap’ cushioning material, which naturally decomposes into water and carbon dioxide within 180 days and can be disposed of as regular trash.
