The platform V World Phase 3 service, which supports creating necessary spatial information apps easily by utilizing spatial data owned by the state, will be launched starting tomorrow.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced the implementation of services that enable easier use of spatial information through customized map production, 3D analysis, and expanded simulation features.
The 3D analysis includes five types of analysis functions, such as visually checking the impact of building height and location on sunlight rights and pre-reviewing harmonious landscape maintenance with nearby cultural assets when constructing or reconstructing buildings.
This Phase 3 advancement project significantly enhances usability for general users as well as data provision by introducing a “my own map service” that overlays various information on maps according to user needs.
This service is available to everyone via the V World site (www.vworld.kr).
