[Edaily Park Ji-hye Reporter] A Seoul Seongdong District Council member is under suspicion of sexually assaulting an employee at an adult entertainment establishment while his companions looked on. The council member stated that he feels unjustly accused.
According to Seoul Seocho Police Station, they applied for an arrest warrant for former ruling party member and now independent council member A on charges of aggravated sexual assault under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act on the 31st of last month.
A is accused of sexually assaulting an intoxicated female employee at an adult entertainment establishment in Seocho-gu in April after an event with three companions present. During police questioning, he reportedly stated that the act was consensual and not forced.
