Park Se-ri, a former golfer, directly expressed her position on suing her father for forging documents. Park revealed that she had resolved her father’s debt issues multiple times and even shed tears.

Park Se-ri, along with her lawyer, held a press conference. She explained the circumstances that led her to press charges against her father, Park Jun-chul, for forging documents last September.
Her father, Park, was accused of using a forged Park Se-ri Hope Foundation stamp during his involvement in the Saemangeum Marine Leisure Tourism Complex project.
Park mentioned that since her retirement in 2016, she had been continually paying off her father’s debts, leading to the current situation.

She stated that she has reached a point where she can no longer bear it and clarified that it was her idea to propose suing her father during the board meeting.

Park mentioned that she has not been in contact with her father since the incident and declared a complete cut-off from her father’s debt issues in the future.
Despite this, she couldn’t hold back tears when asked about her family.

Park expressed her hope that the young promising athletes who dreamt of a future through the foundation would not be affected by this incident.
Regarding reports of her family’s Daejeon residence being auctioned off, she claimed it was a problem related to her father’s debts and had been resolved without legal issues.
