On September 5th, the Gwangju Transportation Corporation, in collaboration with 25 public and private organizations, participated in the ‘Gwangju-Jeonnam Bitgaram Integrity Festival’ held in Bitgaram-dong, Naju. The corporation announced on the 8th that it launched a major integrity campaign alongside relevant organizations.
The campaign saw participation from 25 public institutions and private organizations from the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions. It focused on promoting anti-corruption and integrity messages to the public, such as eradicating drunk driving, introducing laws related to illegal lobbying, and breaking down everyday power harassment practices.
As the chair institution of the ‘Bitgaram Integrity Practice Network’ this year, the corporation organized the event and expected it to contribute to spreading a culture of integrity throughout the community by engaging directly with citizens.
A representative from the corporation stated, “Integrity is the most important core value in building a healthy society,” and affirmed their commitment to continuing efforts towards creating a transparent and clean community.
