Forming a Special Crackdown Team of 360 People Targeting over 4,000 Entertainment Facilities in Seoul,

, ‘Seoul City plans to disclose details of entertainment facilities where drug-related illegal activities are found, including strong administrative penalties such as business suspension, as well as the names of establishments, locations, violation details, etc. According to the investigation conducted by the National Police Agency, the number of drug offenders related to entertainment facilities has increased from 193 in 2020 to 686 in 2023, a 3.6-fold increase over the past 4 years. It is the city’s judgment that there is a need for concentrated management of clubs frequented by young people, given that those in their 20s and 30s account for more than half of all drug offenders.’,
